HGA RECREATIONAL PROGRAM NEWSLETTER
Welcome new members, and welcome back returning members. We can’t wait to start a new session of gymnastics. We are going to have a lot of fun this session learning gymnastics and meeting new friends. Watch for our monthly newsletter to keep you posted on upcoming events.
Hallway Coat Area
Everyone has been doing a great job at helping us cut down on congestion by using our coat area in the hallway. Please remember to put wet boots on the mats in the hallway and coat room. Tumble Bee’s and Yoga have their own bench at the end of the hallway by the Raccoon.
Our floors get VERY slippery when wet. Please walk on the carpeted area.
Just a reminder to everyone to please explore your HGA Uplifter online account. On your account you have access to all of your invoices, a personalized calendar and if your child is in Tumble Bugs, Mighty Mites, or Twisters you will be able to view their report card online as well.
Don’t forget that there are no scheduled classes on Family Day Weekend.
That means no class on Fri. Feb 14th, Sat. Feb.15th, Sun. Feb. 16th, and Mon. Feb. 17th.
Have a safe and fun holiday with the family!
March Break Camp

I Love Gymnastics Week
Fill out your Pink Heart (will be handed out during class) about why you love gymnastics. We will be hanging them all over the lobby to celebrate our favourite sport.
Chocolate Bar Sales
Many members have been asking when Lamontagne Chocolate Bars are coming back! Well wait no longer! Our Annual Spring Chocolate Bar Fundraiser begins February 18th. This year we have prizes for the top 20 sellers including cash prizes.
While selling chocolate is not mandatory, we would like each family to try and sell one case of chocolate. This year we will be raising money for a new set of bars with a spotting block. Look for pictures in the lobby soon.
Coach of the Month
Congratulations to Megan Parkinson Pearson this month’s Coach of the Month. Megan has been here at the HGA since she was a little girl. Megan was always that kid that came to every camp and was here for every session of gymnastics. Her passion for gymnastics continues and she is always striving to better herself and her gymnastics knowledge. Megan participated in our First Aid course over the Christmas break and did a great job. Way to go Megan!
C.I.T. of the Month
Congratulations to Isabella Wehby this month’s Coach in Training of the Month. Isabella was a part of our Advanced Recreational Program (the Aerials) for several years, and just completed our CIT Training camp this past summer. Isabella has stood out this past month by also taking part in our First Aid course that was held here over the Christmas break. Great job Isabella!
